For Pet Guardians

Overwhelmed and not sure how to start?

Have you received a behavior diagnosis and treatment plan from your veterinarian or veterinary behaviorist for your dog or cat, but you are overwhelmed and not sure how to start?

You have taken a great first step with seeking professional assistance from your veterinarian/veterinary behaviorist. Debbie Martin, with over 19 years of experience coaching dog and cat guardians through detailed behavioral treatment plans, can provide you with the individualized assistance you need to put your pet’s treatment plan into action. If you have a treatment plan from Ease Pet Vet in collaboration with your pet’s regular veterinarian, Debbie can help you with implementation of the plan. Debbie was involved with developing the treatment plans for Ease. Although individual results will vary, expect to have a better understanding of your pet, and see improvement in their behavior within a few weeks.

What to expect

Standard coaching services involve:

  • Assistance with implementing a prescribed veterinary behavior treatment plan. She will collaborate with your veterinary team to keep them updated on your pet’s progress (with your permission).

  • A 2-month commitment.

  • During the first 2-months plan to meet with Debbie twice a week virtually or depending on your location and your pet’s situation, one virtual session and one in-home session weekly. Sessions are usually 30-45 minutes but may last up to an hour.

    • In-home sessions are limited to the following zip codes: 78732, 78733, 78734, 78735, 78736, 78738, 78746

    • The cost is $150 per session. Prepayment is required at scheduling and non-refundable.

  • An empathetic and kind approach to helping you integrate your pet’s treatment plan into your life.

  • Debbie will listen to you and together you will devise a routine that works for you and feels safe for everyone.

  • An individualized approach to your unique situation.

  • Coaching you through the training and behavior modification exercises to help your pet develop healthy coping strategies.

Some clients will have the skills, confidence, and habits to continue to implement the treatment plan on their own after 2 months of coaching. Other clients prefer to continue to receive coaching and work with Debbie 1 to 4 times a month after the initial 2 months.
